They had great interaction with my guests and the song choices were spot on. The saxophonist added that extra dimension and I would also recommend this choice. “Highly recommend this fantastic band. Wide raage of music, accommodated our late requests. Encouraged our 12 year old to sing her party piece for us "Skyfall" by Adele, by rehearsing beforehand with her. Professional, friendly, very well presented. All our guests loved them. They got us all up dancing from 1st song. You can not go wrong with this band for any occasion. Thank you, Angela, Nick & Cara x”

“We booked Checkmate for our Brass Band’s 20th Anniversary Dinner and we are over the moon, we made a fantastic choice. We had a wide age range (12-80) and there was something for everyone. Great interaction with their audience, professional and a great sound from musicians and vocalists. So glad we added the saxophonist, it just added that little extra touch. We had such great feedback from our guests. Dancing right to the end; sore feet and aching backs this morning but what a night! Would definitely recommend and would even hire again if the occasion arose. Thank you Checkmate.”
