“Once again, an excellent performance by Checkmate. Very professional and can judge and always have the right tempo. Well received by my guests who commented on how they enjoyed Checkmate. The new lighting was very effective and added to the ambience in the room. Good choice of songs which were enjoyed by all. All communication with the band was smooth and timely with no issues, set up and finish were discreet, overall they gave us a fabulous party and we would have no hesitation but to book them again.”

“I would like to congratulate Checkmate on providing an excellent evening of party/ ball music on May 7th 2022. They played all the songs I requested and were very flexible with the timings. All my guests said how excellent the band was. They all loved the songs. The band were also helpful in getting people on the dance floor when there was a lull. I would recommend them to anyone having a petty, ball or wedding.”
