Full Biography
Alandi are a professional duo performing Latin music for a variety of occasions ranging from corporate events, private parties and restaurant venues.
Combining voice and percussion – the key elements of Latin music – with the use of pre-recorded backing tracks, Alandi create the sound of a full band on a compact scale. The music suits different occasions and can vary from upbeat Salsa and Latin Pop, to the relaxed Bossa Nova and Bolero styles.
Alandi’s musicians, have had an eclectic musical training with professional experiences to match, encompassing: Latin American, jazz, Gospel and classical music. As individuals this has led them to perform on tours in the UK and around the world with artists such as: Enclavegospel, The Ghana Dance Ensemble, Stewart Copeland (The Police), and at venues which include: The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Jazz Café, Bolivar Hall, Cubana and The National Theatres (London and Ghana).
