Communication was prompt, they arrived well ahead of time and were very kind and patient with our elderly residents, not wanting anyone to miss out. I soon discovered a trio of professional string players full of enthusiasm and fun. Their talent was immediately obvious and their programme popular and well-chosen to suit the audience; this being no easy task for an audience with an averag...”“When I heard that a group called City String Trio was coming to Glendale Care Home, I had no idea who they were, except that they were coming to entertain us. I soon discovered a trio of professional string players full of enthusiasm and fun. Their talent was immediately obvious and their programme popular and well-chosen to suit the audience; this being no easy task for an audience with an average age of probably almost 90! You got the balance right and the fun came as a result. The two late afternoon 45 minute sessions were the right balance to get the guests ready and up and dancing to the Band in the evening.
