We really wanted the music at our wedding to be one of the best things about it, so after spending hours and hours (literally) of watching bands on the internet we bit the bullet and booked them. If you are reading this review now and are doing the same as we did, spending every evening after work looking at different bands, save your precious time and stop looking now! The band was absolutely amazing! They did three 40 minute sets for us and the dance floor was full from the first note they played. They got stuck in a bit of traffic on the way to the venue, but let us know and managed to get there and start on time anyway. Not only that, but they were so flexible. We chose two of their festival sets but tweaked them slightly and then chose the songs we wanted for the third set so we knew all the songs were ones we liked. Our request song was One Day like This by Elbow which they'd never done before, and were unsure whether they'd be able to do the song due to the amount of strings in it. However, they absolutely did the song justice and it was the perfect way to end the night, with me and my new husband dancing in the middle of a massive circle made up of all our friends and family singing along with the band. I really felt that Matt listened to what kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding and I felt very reassured. On our wedding day though, they blew us away. They did a beautiful rendition of L-O-V-E by Joss Stone for my first dance. I was ecstatic with how the song was sung and delivered. Throughout the night, they played tunes one after another and I had SO MUCH FUN thanks to Nightshift. Finding a band for a wedding is daunting experience! You haven't seen them play before, are they going to turn up? Are they going to bring the bangerz and get the dancefloor going? I had these doubts up until the wedding day I must admit! However, there is literally no reason to worry, as Nightshift ticked all the boxes and more! They are very talented musicians but also very professional and know how to get the party going!
