They turned up, set up and started the first set all without any questions , played both sets with everyone up and dancing and they played a fantastic mix of songs as we gave them free rein to create a set list . I just felt compelled to send a quick email to compliment the guys on such an amazing evening of entertainment. The lead’s voice is insane - and it’s incredible how his timbre and tone changes depending on the song he’s singing as not everyone can do that - ie if Ed Sheeran sang Amy...”“I’ve just come back from the Windsor wedding at Offley Place where The Dukes Band performed. The lead’s voice is insane - and it’s incredible how his timbre and tone changes depending on the song he’s singing as not everyone can do that - ie if Ed Sheeran sang Amy Winehouse, he would sound like Ed singing Amy. Yet the lead tonight adapted his voice depending on the song; yet never becoming a tribute act cliché. The drummer also deserves props for his incredible multi-tasking. Great voice with a great beat. “Where do I start?! The Kicks were incredible. We had the acoustic sessions during canapes and drinks with the live band sets at night. They wowed guests at both points! During the acoustic sets, the band took requests and had everybody singing and dancing to keep them entertained while we were having the formal photos. Everyone kept coming up to us and saying that our wedding was the best they had...”“Where do I start?! The Kicks were incredible. I would recommend them to anyone. They have quite a large variety of music on their set list making it easy to tailor the night to you and for any songs that you desperately want, they play these in between sets as they have a sound system, while they're not playing. I have to say that we were cautious about spending such a large amount of money in one area but they were worth every single penny. Thank you so much for making our day so special.” Read more
