We loved the sound of the music they sampled on the website as well as their repertoire. We contacted Gemma via Alive Network who was extremely helpful and explained how the process works. It was perfectly clear as to what to expect and confirmed with a contract. We received the contact details for the band and I spoke to Paul a couple of times on the run up to our day. He answered questions and was very helpful. On the day they arrived and set up and before we knew it was first dance time. Our first dance was a song not on their list but we paid for them to learn it and it was worth every penny extra. You can not replicate it via the DJ so I was so thrilled that they did a fantastic version of it. The guys were so nice and interacted with our guests. “Once we’d decided on the Youth Overrided our communication with the band was also very easy and efficient. There was a real “can-do”, flexible, attitude, and the band were obviously prepared to do whatever they could to make it a great evening. They even asked us whether we’d prefer them to be dressed in suits or not, and playing our first dance song (even though it wasn’t on their playlist) was n...”“Once we’d decided on the Youth Overrided our communication with the band was also very easy and efficient. On the night, the band were amazing! They had everyone up and dancing almost straight away, they looked fantastic, and were professional and efficient throughout. The music is such a key part of a wedding, and this wedding band nailed it. They then made the last song of the night incredibly special for us, and magicked themselves away in a very low-key and discreet way. All in all a fantastic experience.
