“The Kicks smashed their performance at our wedding on 10th April! We chose them as we didn’t want the stereotypical cheesy wedding band- and they absolutely met the brief! They played a great mix of Indie/ rock/pop tunes which had everyone dancing the entire night. The guys were also super helpful and responsive in the lead up to the wedding.”

The dance floor was buzzing.

They prepared really well beforehand, giving us an extensive repertoire so that we could give some song preferences for them to build a setlist around. The band are all clearly very talented musicians, and the singer has a wonderful voice. They all seemed to be having a great time too which helped create a brilliant atmosphere. They achieved the perfect balance of being fun and high energy whilst still being cool and not over-the-top (as some wedding bands can be!). Our guests absolutely loved the band, and the dance floor was full for the whole of their two sets. We were grateful that the band obliged our guests chants requesting ‘one more song’ at the end! “One of the most difficult things I think to pick for your wedding is the band. Venue, food, photographer, etc. all seem fairly straightforward but music is such a tough one to get right. Especially when you have guests of all ages and backgrounds. There are so many bands out there and even with all the promo videos it's impossible to know what to expect on the day. After trawling through what seem...”“One of the most difficult things I think to pick for your wedding is the band. Venue, food, photographer, etc. all seem fairly straightforward but music is such a tough one to get right. Especially when you have guests of all ages and backgrounds. There are so many bands out there and even with all the promo videos it's impossible to know what to expect on the day. After trawling through what seemed like 1000s we came across The Secret Set and were really impressed with the singer Naomi and the band as a whole. We had a quick look at their repertoire which was varied and had lots of great songs and got to booking them. The communication was a breeze - arranging timings and set lists etc. was easy and they were great value too. On the day Naomi unfortunately couldn't make it but the band and their back up singer Charlotte absolutely smashed it. We had loads of comments from guests about how great they were and we loved it.
