“We have given 3 large parties with live music in the last few years, most recently this July for a 70th Birthday party. All the performers did a good job but the standouts have been Electrik Live. Picking suitable music was no problem - we were offered an extensive repertoire, from hits of the 60's till today, and Jared Martin from the band worked with us to create a playlist that was perfect for ...”“We have given 3 large parties with live music in the last few years, most recently this July for a 70th Birthday party. Picking suitable music was no problem - we were offered an extensive repertoire, from hits of the 60's till today, and Jared Martin from the band worked with us to create a playlist that was perfect for the occasion. The band did an acoustic set outdoors for background during pre-dinner drinks and canapes, and also organised a playlist of pre-recorded music to be broadcast through their sound system between sets. There therefore was no need for a DJ. And delivery on the night couldn't have been better - you could see the band really care about their work. The ultimate accolade is simple though - Electrik Live kept our dance floor packed throughout their two sets. The energy levels were really high right up until the last number, and even habitual wall flowers joined the action!” Read more

“Came across the The Right Swipes whilst out with a friend in Harrogate and as soon as they had played a few songs I knew that I'd luckily stumbled upon the perfect band for our wedding. They play a great mix of alternative/indie/rock covers and were more than happy to include a fair few requests which were most appreciated (which they pulled off brilliantly!). Communication before the event was painless and they helped to sort out any queries quickly. Despite the timings on-the-day not going to plan, the band were extremely flexible which was a huge help. We really couldn't have asked for more, everyone was on the dancefloor having a good time and I lost count of how many people were saying how good the band were.
