I actually fractured my rib two days before the wedding, but I couldn’t stop dancing cos every song was perfect and there was never one I felt I could sit out. “We booked Discoteca as we didn’t have the space for a full live band at our rooftop bar venue, but we didn’t just want a DJ as the venue suggested. Discoteca were a fantastic option for us as a ‘live electronic duo’ they gave us the performance energy we were after. Their 90s dance floor hits medley was a particular highlight. Fantastic stage presence and their lighting was cool too. “We weren’t sure if I wanted a wedding band and then we stumbled across these guys! We were perhaps looking at DJs (as we aren’t hugely into guitar music), but were worried about the lack of energy/vibe just booking a DJ. Discoteca were the perfect choice; Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, Gorillaz, Hot Chip, Rudimental etc. Right up our street. Very happy!’”

The band even made and performed a new arrangement of our first dance song, Everlasting Love. They fielded a guitar and sax duo during the drinks reception which perfectly complemented the atmosphere. I was recommended this band by a professional musician whose wedding they had also played at. All the arrangements, particularly the medleys, worked incredibly well on the dance floor. Many of our guests remarked that it was the best wedding band they had ever heard.
