They arrived on time and set up discretely. My wife loved the little touches they added, such as including her name in some lyrics in different songs. They performed our first dance song beautifully and then the dance floor was full for each and every set. Many guests asked who they were and where we found them, saying they would recommend The Sonics for any future events. Our venue host was very impressed with their punctuality and professionalism, also their performance! She said she would like to add them to their list of recommended suppliers for future couples. The variety of songs from different decades worked for guests of all ages, but without being cheesy (like some old-fashioned DJs). Great party band and Alex was lovely- we had two calls beforehand to plan the night and make sure we were happy with everything.”

“We were so fortunate to have Talk of The Town play at our company summer festival. From beginning to end they were an absolute pleasure to deal with and made the event a roaring success! Communication during the run up was faultless - they were very organised and accommodating, and the choice of songs on their set list was endless! On the day they arrived on time and set up without any issues. Their equipment was fantastic too, great sound and lighting to really add to the atmosphere. They kicked off the afternoon with an acoustic set outdoors, then moved inside the marquee for 2 further full on party sets! They got everything absolutely spot on. They were able to strike a brilliant balance of interacting with the guests, encouraging them onto the dance floor and making sure they were having a good time, all without being too invasive! The music was fantastic - we knew they were going to be good, having watched some of their demo videos, but they were so much better in real life! Judging by all of the feedback I've had, I can safely say that our guests thought so too! If you get the chance, book this band - you will not be disappointed!” Read more
