Not only were Hipster great performers on stage but they matched it with the way they conducted themselves off stage. They set up their equipment quietly and efficiently, whilst the wedding speeches were in progress, causing no distractions. Between sets, I gave them my office to use, where they were "fed & watered". To my utter astonishment, they even cleared up after themselves before they left for the night. Admittedly not very "Rock & Roll" but I was delighted that they left my office in such a tidy state. Please pass on my grateful thanks to all the band. We immediately starting tapping ideas into the search criteria and were amazed at how much information you had on the site. Our biggest fear was booking a band that we hadn’t seen but we really wanted a band that none of our friends had seen before. We felt at ease once we had made an enquiry and spoke to a real person as opposed to solely communicating through email. We really liked the “agency” vibe of Alive Network, especially as we made a few enquiries about bands to start with before making our decision. We felt in good hands that the team were liaising with the band, and even when we made a last minute change to the schedule, we weren’t made to feel like it was a problem which we much appreciated especially as the build up to a wedding is so stressful! We were over the moon with our choice to book The Quartones. They were professional, organised, and passionate about what they played. They played for our welcome drinks, and we added a male singer for the evening reception. They went above and beyond our expectations and we have had many comments from our guests about how good they were. Our first dance was booked as their last song, and even though we were late they didn’t rush us at all but just carried on until we were ready. We really did feel that they had our interests at heart. We would highly recommend both The Quartones and Alive Network, considering how stressful it is to plan a wedding we felt at ease and looked after throughout the entire process.” Read more

“The guys played at our wedding in May ’13, and they were superb. Bob really listened to what we wanted from a band and the atmosphere we were hoping create, and they nailed it. They even learned a specific song for our first dance and put their own slant on it. Can’t speak highly enough of them. Equally talented and professional, we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them!”

The quality of the sound & their performance was excellent. Their choice of songs was also just right, as was their interaction with our (occasionally slightly mad & inebriated) guests! Everyone was very flexible considering that the music started an hour later than planned & that they were interrupted for a few unexpected hiccups. We really appreciated therefore that everyone stayed until 1am and were still there packing up when we left. They were also great at checking with me if we wanted to stick to the original plan given the delay, how we wanted the music for the bouquet/ garter throwing etc. All in all, everyone was excellent & topped off a great day. As soon as The Fanatics started to play we knew it was all worth it & they added exactly what we hoped & even more to a fantastic day. If you want a talented, energetic & professional group with a varied playlist who really get the party going & keep it going, with no extra headaches, then we couldn’t recommend The Fanatics highly enough. Everybody was dancing late into the night & we’re still getting great feedback from lots of guests telling us how impressed they were with them & how much they enjoyed themselves.
