“I take this occasion of writing to extend our thanks to your organisation for your kind efforts in the arrangement of the band for our Annual Members Dinner/Dance last Saturday evening. I shall be grateful if you could kindly convey our most sincere thanks to the group 'Sugarbeat' who once again played favourable music for our members during the evening.”

“A huge thank you to Retrospect who played for us at our Hospital's 25th anniversary celebrations. A wonderful night was had by all! The atmosphere was incredible, the band were fantastic. From our initial inquiry with Alive Network, through the whole duration of the event the band were very professional and approachable. We will definitely be inviting them back to play for us at future events.”

“I would like to thank you and the band for the most fabulous night at the De Vere Hotel. The music was spot on and so many people danced, there was not enough room on the dance floor! With nearly 200 guests you played a great variety of songs to suit every ones taste. The Trust has had great feedback from the night and we would love to book you for our next Ball which is in November 2015. ...”“I would like to thank you and the band for the most fabulous night at the De Vere Hotel. Thanks very much for an excellent performance at the Charity evening. Having found yourselves through the Internet, you exceeded all of our expectations. The music was fun, lively, everyone loved it and it was great to see the dance floor full early on in the performance. You were professional, on time, accommodating and had a great sound. We will have no hesitation in recommending you in the future to friends and colleagues.” Read more

“The description ‘function band’ really should be banned from use on acts’ publicity. It certainly does groups like Beat Collective no favours, conjuring up images of staid, elderly musicians wearing bow ties and drab formal attire. But, this band’s six-strong line-up here performed as good a showcase set I’ve seen for a long time from a so-called function outfit. The two lead female vocalists are top drawer, the musicians edgy and the spin they manage to put on really old numbers, like Proud Mary, is a lesson for other bands on the circuit.” Read more

Right from the first song the crowd were on their feet loving every single minute of their performance. We couldn't have asked for better, the atmosphere they brought with them made everyone buzz. As my wife said to me as we stood there at the end of the night I've danced so hard my hair has fallen out, my dress is battered and my feet are destroyed.....but she wanted more! For anyone thinking about booking these guys, don't think.....JUST BOOK THEM NOW!! I've been told she wants them at her 30th now.....at least it'll give the feet time to recover! So thank you guys, perfect gents, brilliant musicians and the best way to see out our first day as man and wife. We cannot thank you enough!” Read more
