The energy of the band, as well as the quality of music was incredible. We were looking for a band with a bit of a difference; a band that could play jazz and swing as well as get people up and dancing to more funky or contemporary tunes. The Soultastics were just that! Indeed their swing arrangements of more contemporary tunes achieved both of these goals simultaneously. Abi's voice sounded great whatever the style of the song. We coordinated our first dance with the band (a lindy hop swing dance to Nina Simone's "My Baby Just Cares for Me"), and they were also kind enough to let the groom sit in on guitar for a tune (one off the wedding bucket list).
