“We can’t express strongly enough how fantastic they were. Everyone commented how good they were even the venue wanted their details for future events! Not only are they great musicians, they are also really nice guys. Nothing was too much trouble they even offered to learn our choice of first dance song (which was amazing) They are really engaging and everyone was singing along, it was lovely how they got us and our guests involved. Communication in the run up and on the day was easy and they were really accommodating.”
Fantastic band with a varied repertoire

“We selected The Upstarts to play at our wedding based on their varied repertoire. They played a range of songs (from Lionel Richie to Robin Thicke to The Killers) which kept all of our guests entertained and on the dancefloor all night. So many people commented on how good they were and how great the lead singer was! Prior to our wedding they were in contact with us to confirm what songs we wanted played and timings etc which was really helpful as it enabled us to ask questions and have a chat before the actual day. They also provided a DJ set in the breaks which we provided a playlist for and they were helpful in telling us about duplicates that would be played in their set, so the same songs weren't played twice. The Upstarts are a great band and great bunch of lads. We would definitely recommend them to others!”

“Consummate professionals throughout the experience. They arrived ready to play and worked really well with our tech team who said they were great to work with. Musically I thought the band sounded amazing - I left the choice of music up to them apart from vague directions in terms of theme and vibe of the event, and I think it worked out really well with some great choices and they kept up the energy well. They were given a tough slot to fill as the event was just starting up, but they set the tone really well - I had lots of people comment on how great they sounded and how well it fit in. Our booking went in very last minute, but Mark and the guys were very communicative and that made the whole thing seem a doddle.”
