Absolutely incredible set of guys!

“Me and my husband got married yesterday at Barton Grange in Preston and The Upstarts arrived at 6.30 as agreed and were due to start at 8.30pm. All of the band were very friendly and outgoing and even started slightly before agreed after them setting up due to the guests being too eager. They performed our first dance song amazingly and engaged well with the guests doing an icredible mix of old and new. Some of our guests were very drunk by this point and the band were more than happy to take requests and let people sing with them! Everyone of our guests commented on the bands performance and how impressed they were (especially as it was a surprise) and I could not recommend them enough. Thank you so much for being your talented, friendly musical selves!”

“Simply exceptional! The Upstarts were exceptional. We researched and researched to make sure we had the perfect band for us - for our guests - and we couldn’t have been happier. The atmosphere was incredible! The songs were perfection! Their voices superb! They were extremely professional yet fun! Everyone was impressed, so much so, their names were asked for and future bookings already in discussion amongst guests. I wouldn’t hestitate in recommending them to family and friends. Thank you The Upstarts - we loved you guys!”

“We were so thrilled we chose The Upstarts. The acoustic session in the afternoon was just perfect- what a voice! Then from the first dance, everyone was up dancing and due to their extensive playlist, was dancing until the last song, after encores. So many guests have said how great the band were. Nothing was too much trouble- really lovely guys, so polite and easy as well as very talented musicians. They helped make our day so special and we cannot recommend them enough- you must book this brilliant band!”

The music and vocals were incredible and all of our guests have commented on how good they were afterwards, with a few wanting to book them for their own events. “Great band, so easy to deal with, emailed me a month beforehand to ask for preferences and called me a week prior to our wedding to check everything was in order. All band members were lovely and easy going. They even surprised us by learning our first dance, which we had not expected! Was one of the happiest moments of our day. Thank you! They also made sure to keep both myself and the groom updated with any changes (because the speeches ran over). Lead singer had an incredible voice! A lot of our guests asked how we found The Upstarts and how to contact them, which shows just how good they were. I didn’t want the music to stop! So happy we chose The Upstarts for our wedding, wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.”

“We booked The Upstarts just a week before our wedding as our previous band cancelled on us, and we were so happy with them and received loads of comments from our guests about what a good band they are. They learned our first dance song at short notice and encouraged people to get on the dance floor when it emptied. The only down side was they didn’t play some songs we chose and played some that we didn’t, but overall we were really happy and would recommend them to anyone looking to book a band!”
