“We were originally due to get married in 2020 and the band we had were unavailable when we re-scheduled for 2021. This turned out to be a blessing, as The Upstarts were so much better! We spent a lot of time (hours) looking at bands on Alive Network and were very specific about what we were looking for - a great cover band wtih a fun, versatile repertoire. Very easy to deal with, professional and the feedback from all of our guests was amazing. Would 100% recommend as a wedding band.”

While setting up on the day they were organised and available for any questions we had. And most importantly they put on a great show. A super talented set of guys who brought loads of great energy. They got everyone dancing and we have had lots of comments on how brilliant they were. The icing on the cake is that they are a genuinely nice and friendly bunch too. Stop looking through bands and just book The Upstarts.”

“We wanted to say thank you so much to The Upstarts for making our day even more incredible! We held our very own tipi festival wedding, breaking many of the normal traditions. It was fun, relaxed and informal and the band complemented this amazingly. We asked for a chilled out vibe to begin and then to step it up! And step it up they truly did! The dance floor was packed and everyone was raving about them. We even had an extremely tired pregnant guest, ready to pop, who could not bring herself to leave the dance floor until the end! I had lost my voice by the end of the night from singing. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you from the new Mr and Mrs Matthias.”
