“I am writing to thank you so much for providing the amazing band, Sax It Up to perform at our Chamber Awards Thursday 18th November at Westenhanger Castle. The dance floor was full from the start of the band playing to the very last number with shouts of ‘more’ from the audience after the last one was played. Sax It Up added another level to our most successful Awards evening yet and we have had so many compliments from the guests. Every member of the band was brilliant from the 2 singers who invited the dancers to sing with them on vocals, the saxophonist mingling and the solo guitar performance, drums, bass and keys. “Such an awesome wedding band, and great bunch of people. Remmy and Lilac were really helpful in the lead up to the day itself, helping us build the perfect band set list and DJ playlist. The sax player during the drinks reception was super cool, and all the performances later in the evening were incredible. Lilac was the most charismatic front woman, effortlessly dancing in amongst the crowd and creating the best vibe. Guests kept coming up to us all night and saying how brilliant the band were. And there was big love for the female drummer – our nieces love to play the drums, so she was such an inspiration! Would massively recommend booking”

“Sax It Up - party 1 July 2022 We held a party at Ham Polo Club to celebrate being alive and Chose Sax It Up to be our band playing live music for the evening They were brilliant - so easy and pleasant to deal with in the build up; very accommodating and agile in being able to deal with our preferred choice of music - a combination of hippie theme and getting people on the dance floor; reassuring that everything would be great and delivering flawlessly on the night. We chose a sitar player for our pre dinner drinks and he was amazing The music played was great. - Remko overseeing, checking sound quality, etc; lilac creating the atmosphere with her roving mike and the sax player also mixing with the dancers We had a great time and danced till we dropped and all our guEets did too We can’t recommend Sax It Up highly enough P&B”

“Wow!!!! What can we say?? Lilac and the band totally rocked our wedding - we could not have made a better choice. They read the mood and the crowd perfectly and the dance floor was packed the whole time. And when Lilac, the sax player and the guitarist joined the dance floor it was really special. “Unbelievably big thanks to what you put on for us! It delivered on all fronts!! The sax to start things off was absolutely incredible - exactly the vibe we were after. Then Remko was a hero in sorting the music to walk in on and the music during the breakfast! But the band, boy oh boy did they steal the show - I lost track of the number of comments from our guests on how good you guys were! The bits where you came out into the crowd and got stuck in were epic. We knew you’d be good but you surpassed all expectations!!”

“BEST BAND EVER!! Lilac and her 6pc band played at our wedding in Summer 2021, and Rem DJ'd. Both sets were absolutely fantastic! In the build up to the wedding, Lilac and Rem were incredibly helpful in guiding us through our playlist, identifying crowd pleasers and song collections which worked incredibly well together. They were both full of ideas and suggestions and left no stone unturned in their preparations! Planning our evening set with them was a real giggle! They were very clear in outlining their requirements on the day, and recommending what timings would work well. They were also incredibly understanding, cooperative, and willing to be flexible as we waited to plan our wedding around COVID. On the day, Lilac and the team were full of energy and this reverberated around the room, creating a truly special atmosphere! Lilac has an amazing, soulful voice and so much stage presence! The saxophonist was also outstanding!! They kept the dance floor filled all evening and full of noise as we all sang along. Lilac and the team's set was incredible, and they kept going beyond the two 45 min slots to all of our delight! Rem's DJ set to conclude the evening was incredible! He struck a really great balance between old school classics and more modern, higher tempo tunes. We'll remember excitedly dancing along to Avici and Craig David, and finishing off with a sing along to Wonderwall, Sweet Caroline and Angels, with all our best friends surrounding us, for the rest of our lives! Thank you so much for a massive contribution towards making our wedding the best day of our lives!”
