“James was absolutely excellent! He is very talented and so friendly! He played our first dance and for the first hour of our reception. We sent him our 1st dance track and he covered it beautifully. He was always quick to respond to emails and was flexible with all the changing dates due to COVID! Our guests raved about him and we are so glad we had him play at our wedding, we will definitely recommend him!”

“James performed during our drinks reception at Christchurch harbour hotel in August. He created a relaxed vibe and several of our guests said to us how great he was. We chatted before the event and we got to hand choose our favourite songs from his set list. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend, glad we booked him!”

“Due to COVID we moved our wedding and found James at very short notice. From the first meeting we had through to the end of his second set James was extremely professional and his performances were perfect. James performed just after the wedding breakfast across two sets and set a perfect atmosphere as the celebrations continued into the evening. All of our guest commented on how good he was and we would 100% recommend him to anyone in the future.”

“Thank you soooo much James! I was on the hunt for someone to write and record me a song for Mikes surprise wedding present and you was the perfect guy! You managed to fit all the important details of our relationship into one song, romantic with a dash of humour / Ed Sheeran style. You absolutely blew me away, the lyrics are out of this world and each verse was so cleverly written. To know you wrote these lyrics never meeting us is crazy. You have such a unique talent and I am so lucky to have had you write record and perform our wedding song as well as perform at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception so beautifully. You were honestly one of the highlights of the day and thank you so much. You went over and above than expected sending me a CD copy and uploading it to soundcloud and the rest. Everyone said how amazing you were and we feel so lucky.”

“We found James at fairly short notice to perform at our wedding last Saturday and all we can say is Wow! Booking James was hands down the best decision we made and my only regret is that we didn't book him for longer. Every single guest raved about how fantastic he was and we have to agree. James performed a song that was very special to me as I walked down the aisle as well as our first dance but put his own little spin on them which made it extra special. “James played at our wedding in May and it was everything we wanted and more. He met with us beforehand to discuss the music we wanted and options for the bits we weren’t sure about yet. He was a lovely guy to work with and took everything in his stride, even our request for a “congregation singalong” as part of our civil ceremony! I had been warned by others that a singalong might be problematic but James was enthusiastic and lead beautifully making it a total success and a really memorable part of our day. James also sent me samples of the song I wanted for the processional which he recorded with and without lyrics to help me decide what would work best. He had such a professional friendly laid back manner, all our guests said how brilliant he was and his music set the perfect tone for our ceremony and drinks reception. Thank you James! Katie & Tony”
