“The band - well they were nothing short of FANTASTIC!! I don't know if i told you, but we saw them a few years ago at a friend's wedding and said to each other then if we do get married we are having Hipster... sure enough we did and we booked them with you. As always things were running over time on the day but they soon got set up and they were off.... belting out all the classics and being very tolerant to my wanna-be-a-singer-in-a-band husband and his mates!! They literally rocked the place and all our friends and family have been saying what a great band they were; where can they book them etc. - so suffice to say they rocked!! Thank you so so much for all the organisation leading up to the big day! I will continue to spread the good word of Alive Network and Hipster!! ”

“Hi Gemma We are finally back off our honeymoon and so I now have an opportunity to write to you to give you some feedback on Hipster. Hipster were absolutely amazing, fantastic, superb.....I need more adjectives to describe how brilliant they were!!! They really made our wedding a very special day and everyone commented on just how great they were and a packed dance floor was proof of this! All the guys were extremely professional and even when we had a power cut, they kept the crowds going with a drumming solo!! I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone for a wedding or any other event where you want people to go away saying that they had a fantastic time! Best wishes Jo”

“Lisa and I wanted to write to let you know how much everyone enjoyed the performance by Hipster at our wedding at Dalhousie Castle on Sunday 30 July. The guys were extremely presentable, polite and personable and did a fantastic job of having everyone shake themselves around the dance floor. Their song list was just the right mixture to get the crowd moving and keep them there from beginning to end, and their ability to render such a range of music so flawlessly was just what we had been looking for. Everyone in the wedding party mentioned how good they thought Hipster had been, and both senior and service staff stopped me the following day to say they had never heard a band perform as well in the castle, which by the way hosted over 320 weddings last year alone so I am sure they have plenty to compare against. In fact, the Events Manager went so far as to tell me that she would “love to hear them at a bigger venue”. Please be sure to pass on our good wishes to the lads of Hipster and let them know they’ll be top of the list next time we have another celebration that needs live entertainment. Best regards to you and everyone else involved who helped the night go so well. ”

“Sorry in the delay of my reply but first of all we went on honeymoon and then when we got back because my computer was so old and people had sent lots of pictures by email it decided once and for all to die! Firstly i would like to say a huge thank you for all your help and support. We had lots of problems in planning our wedding but i must say that alive network never caused us a problem; you were always very efficient, prompt and put our minds at rest. The service was fantastic and extremely professional. Hipster, well what can i say? They were fantastic. Hipster was absolutely perfect and the number of comments on how brilliant they were has been endless. It is so important for any occasion to get the entertainment right and when we chose Hipster we certainly did that. Our wedding day was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing and Hipster kept that going all night. The music selection was perfect and not only did they organise the first dance but they also made us feel special by calling Gary and i up for another dance "I Love You baby", this got everyone on the dance floor and people didn't want to leave! The lads were polite and professional and never caused a problem except everyone keeps hassling us to find out when they are playing in Stafford so we can arrange a night out! Thanks again to all at Alive for being so easy to work with and for always being reasuring”

“Once again Hipster stole the show and, thankfully, all the painful arrangements for hire of the PA and backline in Portugal went smoothly in the end! The only fly in the ointment was that the band came on after our fireworks display, so the rest of the hotel guests had two things to complain about, and the hotel made us stop them from playing on after 11.00 pm, as we were outside in the gardens! Many thanks to you, Dave, for all your advice and assistance re the technical side at the 11th hour - I've told the boys that unless they bring their own lorry next time, I'll only be using them in the UK!! Here's to the next one....! ”

“We thought it would be nice to give you a proper valediction for Hipster because they really helped to make our wedding special. Nearly everyone we have spoken to has commented on how much they enjoyed the band and this was further evidenced by the fact that the dance floor filled immediately when they started playing and never emptied again for a moment. We haven't hesitated to recommend them to several people planning parties and I sincerely hope that they receive some further business as a result.”

“Martyn, Thank you for your note. It's my first day back at work today and have just received your email. We had a fantastic day and evening and I would like you to pass on our thanks to the guys from Hipster who's performance was nothing nothing short of blistering!! Our only regret was not heeding Jo's advice and having the band finish the evening off. Richard Budding also performed exceedingly well and as difficult a job as it is to match up to Hipster, he did so with gusto. We asked for the best you had and you certainly delivered, everyone we spoke to commented on how good they were and wanted to know how to book them.
