“Just a small note to say how absolutely fantastic Dexter were at my event on the 29th November 2013 at Archerfield House. The band were simply brilliant and they had the place rocking from the off. The mix of songs was perfect and the dance floor was never empty the whole night. I would highly recommend Dexter to anyone looking for the perfect party band. 10/10.”

“Alive Network were more than helpful – they ensured that we got the kind of band that we wanted; offering several suggestions and options, but left the end choice up to us. Gemma was very friendly and helpful and kept in contact to see if there was any more help we needed in making our choice. This is the second time we’ve used Alive Network and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if the opportunity arose! Dexter were brilliant! They helped make our wedding day one to remember – not just for us, but all of our guests as well!!! They were a really energetic, great band who played and sang fantastically, especially the song we had asked them to learn. They had a really professional attitude but were also very nice and friendly. The DJ set was great too – a good selection of songs and they played any requests. Thank you!!! ”

“We booked Dexter for our wedding reception on 6th August 2011. Booking Dexter through Alive Network was very easy and very professional. A contract was included to cover ourselves, Alive Network and Dexter which gave us great confidence in Alive Network’s service. Clare at Alive Network was excellent in organising our booking, being very helpful and prompt. We liaised with Martin and Steve from Dexter prior to the wedding to agree our first dance track, the overall playlist throughout the night, and confirm arrangements. They were both extremely friendly, polite, and professional. They were also extremely helpful with confirming the exact timings of their live sets and DJ sets for the evening, obviously using their extensive experience in suggesting what normally works best. Dexter’s performance was awesome! The quality of the singing and the music itself were absolutely amazing from the very first song to the last. We booked three 50 minute sessions with DJ sets in between. This worked perfectly, providing a great mix of live music and recorded chart music, all of superb quality. The live performance by Dexter was the highlight of the evening and ensured that the dance floor was kept busy with guests from all age groups. We cannot fault any part of Dexter’s service and we therefore highly recommend this amazing band. A huge thank you to Dexter from both of us and from all of our guests. “Dexter played at our wedding reception in July 2010 and were just brilliant. The professional way they set up without disturbing any of the guests and checked arrangements, making suggestions where needed to keep the evening running smoothly was really appreciated. As for the band itself, they made everyone's evening. We had requested a cover of 'Stand By Me', for our first dance and Dexter played a great version of it - we were so pleased that a song not on their usual set list sounded so good, and it really helped make a special moment for us. We had worried slightly that with the combination of guests we had invited that the dancefloor might remain a little empty, but Dexter packed it out! Everyone from 10 year-olds to to 80 year-olds was dancing away at some point, and the atmosphere really was exceptional. Some personal touches like requests for songs we liked, and a bit of banter with the crowd added to the feeling that we got more than we paid for. We can't say enough good things about how much the band contributed to the evening, everyone really enjoyed them and a few said they were thinking of booking them for their own weddings! Thanks Dexter!”
