“We booked BackBeat for our wedding, couldn’t be happier with how it went. They performed our first dance song on request, which sounded awesome and our guests loved it. They then played two sets of one hour, the quality of their music was simply brilliant as was their on stage manner and management of equipment. What I was really impressed with was their attitude and flexibility - obviously it was a busy day for us (getting married, and all...) by the time I’d thought to check they’d even found the venue they had already arrived, unpacked and sound checked seamlessly, making it so much easier for us. Couldn’t be happier with their performance and recommend very highly!”

“We opted for a 7 piece, which was just so good. Their set list was varied, fun and got everyone dancing from Spice Girls to Bon Jovi. They swapped a song for us and learnt our first dance, making the evening so much fun. We really loved the whole time and they were a friendly bunch too. The day was over running but they setup very quickly and were flexible before and during the event. We were really looking forward to them as we planned the wedding and they didn't disappoint.”

“Back Beat had full attention from the start and a full dance floor throughout. The DJ service between sets was a good mix of numbers meeting our requirements. Ours was an intergenerational event - 21st birthday so lots of 20+ years olds and 30th Wedding anniversary, so lots of 50-70 year olds! It didn't matter, the set list covered all tastes. Great musicians and vocalist. Would highly recommend them for your event.”

“We booked Backbeat on the advice of our consultant, Clara, who was really helpful with hearing our priorities and helping us choose the right band. That said, we only had YouTube to go from, as we didn't have time to see them live, so we weren't entirely sure of their energy levels/performance vibe in real life. That said, they were AMAZING! The whole party loved them, they really went above and beyond (playing as backing singers for my husband at one point, and also playing the accompaniment to our flowers girls' dance routine - at the request of two 8 year olds!) they were responsive, energetic, fantastic crowd pleasers and a really great experience. Book them now if you haven't already!! The lead singers' voice and stage presence is brilliant, we booked the piano accompaniment and two brass pieces - well worth it.”
