Indie, Britpop & 80s Anthems – Live
If your best nights out involved indie clubs, Britpop, guitar anthems and festival singalongs, The Sundowners should feel very familiar.
This four-piece rock and pop band specialise in 80s favourites, indie anthems and Britpop classics, with a repertoire inspired by student nights, formative gigs and summers spent in festival fields.
Formed in 2024 by a close-knit group of friends and Leeds Conservatoire musicians, The Sundowners perform at weddings, parties, festivals, bars and hospitality events across the UK.
Their repertoire covers:
- 80s favourites
- Indie anthems
- Britpop classics
- Guitar-led rock and pop
- Festival and student-night favourites
Rather than covering every style and decade, the band concentrate on the guitar music they know and love themselves, with indie and Britpop at the heart of their live sets alongside 80s favourites and rock and pop anthems.
Choose Your Sundowners Package
The Sundowners offer live band, band and DJ, and DJ-only packages.
Live Band
Their main live package includes two hours of live music, performed as either:
- 2 x 60-minute sets
- 3 x 40-minute sets
The band provide their own PA and lighting, with premixed DJ music between live sets.
For weddings, they can also perform your first dance live, subject to the song being suitable for the band.
Live Band + Manned DJ
The Sundowners can provide a manned DJ service alongside their live performance, taking care of the music before, between and after the band's sets.
The package includes:
- 2 hours of live band music
- Manned DJ service
- Guest requests
- Live first dance
- Up to two additional song requests
- PA and lighting
DJ Only
The Sundowners can also provide their DJ service without the live band, including PA, lighting and guest requests.
