Full Biography
The Soundtrack Society hails from Corby, Northamptonshire—fondly known as Little Scotland. This four-piece powerhouse boasts nearly 100 years of collective live performance experience, blending working-class grit with undeniable charisma. Fronted by Luke, a seasoned UK band veteran and popular online music presenter, the band also features his wife Emily, one of the UK's most in-demand drummers. Longtime friends Liam, a Guitar Institute graduate and guitar virtuoso, and Larry, a touring bassist with two albums set for release in 2025, complete the lineup.
Formed six years ago after a chance gig revealed their electric chemistry, The Soundtrack Society has since built a reputation for their dynamic live shows. Together, they’ve rocked stages from Birmingham NEC and Manchester BEC to the Royal Albert Hall and London’s O2 Arena, sharing bills with chart-topping pop and rock acts across the UK and Europe.
Known for their infectious energy, cheeky charm, and Luke’s magnetic stage presence, the band delivers crowd-pleasing performances that unite generations. Their shows are packed with dancefloor classics from the 1950s to today—spanning Motown, ‘80s rock, ‘90s Britpop, and modern anthems—fueling singalongs to Sweet Caroline and sparking moshes to Mr. Brightside. Three-part harmonies, world-class guitar work, and interactive antics ensure every crowd stays on their feet.
The Soundtrack Society offers flexible set options (2×60 min, 3×40 min, 2×45 min, or 3-hour marathons), with acoustic sets or Liam’s classical guitar performances available for wedding ceremonies or relaxed receptions. Proud of their Corby roots, they can also incorporate Scottish and Irish anthems like Loch Lomond and Tell Me Ma, making them a standout choice for Hogmanay, Celtic celebrations, and more.
Whether suited up, dressed in costume, or sporting their signature rock edge, they tailor every performance to your event’s vibe—bringing humor, heart, and high-octane fun. Professionalism is a given: they supply all equipment, offer upscale sound with a dedicated engineer and road manager for larger events, and conduct a final planning check-in three weeks before your big day. A 4m x 3m stage is ideal, but they adapt to all venues.
With authentic passion, polished delivery, and unique offerings like bespoke classical guitar sets, The Soundtrack Society transforms any event into an unforgettable celebration. More than a band, they leave audiences feeling like they’ve gained four new best friends by the end of the night.
