Mount Pleasant Jazz Club are a sophisticated Staffordshire-based jazz ensemble available for weddings, corporate events, private parties and celebrations across the UK. Fronted by vocalist and trumpeter Fee Buckton, the band brings together some of the country's most exciting young jazz musicians, creating an elegant sound that blends the timeless charm of a classic jazz club with a fresh, contemporary style. Their standard quartet line-up features vocals and trumpet, piano, upright bass and drums, while trio and acoustic duo options are available for more intimate occasions.

Their repertoire spans timeless jazz standards, swing, bossa nova, modern ballads and inventive jazz interpretations of contemporary favourites. Alongside classics associated with legendary artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Chet Baker, Nina Simone and Antonio Carlos Jobim, the band also performs modern songs reimagined in a vintage jazz style. Inspired by the sound of Postmodern Jukebox, they can transform tracks such as Love On Top and Good Luck, Babe! into sophisticated swing or bossa nova arrangements. Their sets may also feature music by contemporary jazz-influenced artists including Laufey and Gregory Porter, offering a repertoire that feels both stylish and current.

Versatility is at the heart of Mount Pleasant Jazz Club's appeal. With Fee performing both vocals and trumpet, the band can move effortlessly between intimate vocal performances, expressive instrumental features, relaxed background music and lively swing or Latin-inspired sets. This flexibility makes them equally at home providing elegant accompaniment for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts as they are entertaining guests at corporate events, private dinners and evening celebrations. Clients can tailor the repertoire to suit the atmosphere of their event, choosing from classic jazz, modern covers, romantic ballads, bossa nova or upbeat swing. Couples can also request a first dance song, which the band will learn and perform free of charge.

Fee and the wider band have trained at leading institutions including Leeds Conservatoire, bringing exceptional musicianship, professionalism and authenticity to every performance. Fee's career has seen her perform alongside acclaimed artists from the UK jazz, soul and contemporary music scenes, including YolanDa Brown, Nubiyan Twist, Nubya Garcia, Steam Down, Theon Cross, Ruby Mae and KiLNE. She has appeared at renowned venues such as Ronnie Scott's and PizzaExpress Live, as well as major festivals including Glastonbury, further cementing her reputation as a rising talent on the UK jazz circuit.
