Biography

Joseph is an experienced pianist based in North Yorkshire, providing elegant live piano music for weddings, corporate events, private parties and special occasions across the North of England. Whether performing during a wedding ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast or corporate event, Joseph creates the perfect atmosphere with a carefully chosen repertoire and professional presentation.

With over 15 years of performance experience, Joseph performs a wide range of music spanning classical favourites, jazz standards and contemporary songs. His repertoire includes works by Ludovico Einaudi, Debussy and Chopin alongside artists such as Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Ed Sheeran, Billy Joel and many more. Each performance is tailored to suit the style and atmosphere of the event, from elegant background music to lively jazz and contemporary favourites.

Joseph is happy to discuss repertoire requirements in advance and, where possible, will learn special requests to make your event even more personal. Whether you're looking for romantic ceremony music, sophisticated cocktail jazz or well-known contemporary favourites, every performance is designed to complement your occasion.

Having performed at hundreds of weddings, corporate events, hotels and private functions, Joseph understands how to work seamlessly with venues, coordinators and guests to ensure everything runs smoothly. His professional approach and extensive experience allow clients to relax and enjoy their event, confident that every aspect of the music has been taken care of.

Joseph holds an ABRSM Diploma in Performance and continues to perform regularly as both a solo pianist and jazz musician.

“JC Ivory came to play for a fund raising concert we had organised at St Botolph’s Church, Bossall. He agreed to play as part of a two musician performance, the other being Peter Richmond, a classical guitarist. We left Joseph to choose what he wished to play, but suggested a jazz or more modern theme rather than classical. He put on the most wonderful and incredibly enjoyable performance, showing his immense talent, with pieces from popular musicals as well as well known pop classics. His music was much appreciated by the guests who ranged in age from late 20’s to early 90’s!! We felt he gave everyone a truly entertaining 45 minutes and was warmly supported by everyone we spoke with afterwards. Thank you. True talent and a very lovely person.”
