Full Biography
Counterfeit Killers – The World’s First and Finest Tribute to The Killers
Formed in late 2006 in the fabulous town of Bury St Edmunds, UK – a place closely linked to The Killers’ early success – Counterfeit Killers have established themselves as the world’s first and leading tribute to the iconic Las Vegas quartet.
Having experienced The Killers up close and earned praise from the band themselves, Counterfeit Killers deliver an electrifying and remarkably authentic live experience, capturing the unmistakable sound, style and energy that have made The Killers one of the biggest bands on the planet.
With a setlist spanning the band's incredible back catalogue, including Hot Fuss, Sam’s Town, Sawdust, Day & Age, Battle Born, Wonderful Wonderful, Imploding the Mirage and Pressure Machine, Counterfeit Killers recreate the anthems, atmosphere and excitement of a genuine Killers concert.
What truly sets Counterfeit Killers apart is their extraordinary attention to detail. From meticulously recreated, fully functioning versions of Brandon Flowers’ iconic keyboard stands to authentic instruments and equipment – including vintage Fender Starcasters, custom-built Hiwatt amplifiers, Craviotto drums and Nord keyboards programmed with The Killers’ signature sounds – every element is designed to deliver the ultimate Killers experience.
Their reputation has taken them across the globe, performing at prestigious venues, major festivals and international events throughout the UK and beyond, including the USA, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Italy, Spain and the Channel Islands.
Counterfeit Killers don't just play the songs of The Killers – they recreate the magic, the energy and the spectacle of the real thing.
For fans of The Killers, this is as close as it gets.
