Charlotte Soprano

Based in the North West, Charlotte is a classically trained soprano with an impressive international background, having studied at both the Royal Northern College of Music and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Charlotte specialises in providing live music for weddings, funerals, corporate functions, and charity events across the UK. With a wealth of professional performance experience, she brings elegance, emotion, and a highly personal touch to every occasion. From the intimacy of a church or civil ceremony to the grandeur of a gala or private dinner, she tailors each performance to suit the unique tone and style of every event.

As a wedding and funeral vocalist, Charlotte is recognised for her sensitivity, professionalism, and ability to create deeply moving musical moments. Whether performing a timeless classic such as Ave Maria for a bridal entrance or a meaningful song of remembrance, she offers bespoke repertoire choices to ensure the music resonates with each audience.

Her stage career includes leading roles in musical theatre, opera scenes, and full productions across the UK. Performance credits include Mercedes in Carmen, Charlotte in Werther, La Tasse in L’enfant et les Sortilèges, Cosette in Les Misérables, Blanche Ingram in the UK premiere of Jane Eyre the Musical, and the title role in Iolanthe with the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company on its 2014 national tour.

Choral highlights include soloist performances in Handel’s Messiah, Beethoven’s Mass in C, and the Choral Fantasia.

Charlotte has also appeared as a guest vocalist at major public events, including the 60th Anniversary of VE Day at Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, performing to an audience of over 20,000 alongside Max Bygraves, The Rat Pack (Las Vegas), and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

In the corporate world, Charlotte is a highly sought-after crossover artist, having performed at prestigious venues such as The Savoy Hotel London, Royal Albert Hall, and Bridgewater Hall, as well as at international events including a Presidential Dinner in Cyprus. Other notable performances include backing Andrea Bocelli at BBC Children in Need Rocks Manchester, touring with the Royal Marines Bands, and appearances at the Six Nations Rugby Union.

Charlotte works closely with clients to curate the perfect setlist and can learn specific repertoire upon request (available for a small additional fee). She can also provide an additional female vocalist for musical theatre-style duets and show performances.
